Children’s Laetare

Isn’t it funny to see those children so serious, as if they did not really understand what is happening in this Laetare? While adults look more childish than them…

Laetare

Today was the Laetare* (or Carnevale if you prefer) in Froidchapelle, to which 2 colleagues of mine took part…
Here is a 1st picture: I’ll publish some others in my next posts.

* Laetare Sunday: the fourth Sunday of Lent. The name comes from Latin Laetare ‘Rejoice’, the opening word of the Introit, and the day marks the point at which the rigours of Lent are temporarily relaxed. It is also known as Mothering Sunday and Refreshment Sunday.
