Christophe Oberlin

Christophe Oberlin est né en 1952. Chirurgien des hôpitaux et professeur à la faculté Denis Diderot à Paris, il enseigne l'anatomie, la chirurgie de la main et la microchirurgie en France et à l'étranger. Parallèlement à son travail hospitalier et universitaire, il participe depuis 30 ans à des activités de chirurgie humanitaire et d'enseignement en Afrique sub-saharienne, notamment dans le domaine de la chirurgie de la lèpre, au Maghreb et en Asie. Depuis 2001, il dirige régulièrement des missions chirurgicales en Palestine, particulièrement dans la bande de Gaza où il a effectué près d'une trentaine de séjours.

After the tragic end of the Freedom Flotilla, a second attempt to break the illegal blockade of Gaza by Israel will be organised soon.
